Exclusive first look at the Baidu RT6 Robotaxi – The fully autonomous car from China’s Google

Baidu, China’s Google, have revealed the RT6 Robotaxi, a Level-4 autonomous vehicle that doesn’t even need a steering wheel, and we were invited, together with Tu Le from Sino Auto Insights, to be the first English language media to see it up close. This is the first vehicle designed and built fully by Baidu on their new Xinghe platform, developed specifically for fully autonomous driving. It will go into service with the Apollo Go fleet in 2023.
